AiMiR is the original brand developed by NURI Telecom to provide simultaneous automatic meter readings of electricity, water, gas, and other measurements.

AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system collects the usage rates and other related data of electricity, gas, water, heat and so forth from remote data center using various communication methods such as PSTN, Cable TV, RF, PLC, CDMA, GSM and so on. The AMR System is a necessary component to put in force ‘Time-of-Use pricing system’ adopted in many countries to raise energy efficiency in the era of costly natural resources.

The Automatic meter reading (AMR) technology is gradually evolving. An AMR System can provide accurate data of the measurement device, or meter, to the users. Recently, upon the accuracy and infrastructure of the AMR System, terminologies such as Automated Meter Management (AMM) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) have been coined as more emphasis on the analysis, management, and infrastructure is made than the mere act of measurement, and AMM (Automated Meter Management) and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) projects are advancing since the measured data can provide advanced analysis and usage prediction and the measurement infrastructure can be utilized as infrastructures for home networks and ubiquitous sensor networks.

Especially, Sweden’s AMM Project, which has been driven by NURI Telecom starting last year using a Mesh RF communication method, and other numerous AMM projects, which will be used as infrastructures for fire and crime preventing sensor networks, are in progress.
